Hi, nice to meet you! 😊
My name is Joanne and I am a fourth year design student at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University.
I’ve always been fascinated about learning and understanding ‘why’ and ‘how’ people make the decisions that they make. Uncovering the unique user stories, the thought processes behind decisions and ensuring that user needs are met with an inclusive & functional design solution is a huge passion of mine.
My passion for curating meaningful human experiences perpetuates in my spare time- I design user interfaces for sustainability initiatives and strategize ways to increase individual and collective environmental impact with the goal of decreasing single-use plastic waste in Vancouver.
When I'm not head down designing you can find me weight training or playing the cello.
